I'd like to find out more about bringing Gerard into our family.

In the fall of 2005, Child Saving Institute created the Nebraska Heart Gallery to showcase older children available for adoption in the Omaha area. Child Saving Institute’s mission has always been “Responding to the cry of a child” and with your help, we continue to respond to the needs of older children and youth awaiting a safe, nurturing Forever Family.

Gerard

12 years old

Gerard is an energetic 11-year-old who loves to play board games and is an excellent chess player! He also enjoys video games and educational computer games as well. Gerard would love nothing more than to have regular family game nights! Despite his loving personality, Gerard tends to be timid until he builds trust with new people. He would thrive in an active family who can meet his energy and show him new activities and experience new adventures together. Gerard may be quiet until he gets accustomed to his new family; however, he welcomes new experiences and is open to trying new things.

Connections:

Gerard has family members whom he’ll need to maintain a connection with. Additionally, he has adult siblings that he would like to re-connect with sometime in the future.
