I'd like to find out more about bringing Braxton into our family.

In the fall of 2005, Child Saving Institute created the Nebraska Heart Gallery to showcase older children available for adoption in the Omaha area. Child Saving Institute’s mission has always been “Responding to the cry of a child” and with your help, we continue to respond to the needs of older children and youth awaiting a safe, nurturing Forever Family.

Meet Braxton! A 16-year-old young man who loves to watch videos on YouTube and browse the internet. His interests include pirates, matchbox cards and letter magnets. Braxton also loves to go to the park where he enjoys running around and swinging, visiting the trampoline park, swimming and spending time at the splash pad. He also enjoys spending time with his friends!

Braxton is a helper! He likes to go grocery shopping, clean his room, set the dinner table and clean up his dishes. He is also learning to do his own laundry. He is affectionate and will express love by holding your hand, giving fist bumps, high fives and hugs. Since Braxton is autistic, he needs additional encouragement to interact with other people and assistance in finding ways to stay busy.
